I've always loved music, with the flute being the first instrument that I took up at the age of 13. After I became a Christian, I picked it up again after 20 years. But my love for singing prompted me to teach myself the guitar, because it's really hard to play the flute and sing at the same time. If any of you know someone who has mastered this, let me know! So 5 years later at the age of 38, I decided to learn how to play the guitar, and a few short years after that wrote my first song, "Your Need of Me."

And as the Lord did His amazing healing work in me, I began to desire to minister to others with the music He was giving me. This healing work was needed as the result of a very painful childhood that included my parents divorce when I was four years old, extremely low self-esteem and sexual abuse that I suffered at a very young age.

One day I asked the Lord for a song that would minister to other women like myself who had suffered the soul damaging effects of sexual abuse, and the song "Little Katie" was literally born in one evening.

Soon I started to desire a chance to get the songs He had given me recorded and that story is truly amazing and too long to share on this page...but to make a long story short the result of His miraculous intervention is now "Mirabelle's Promise", and it is my prayer that it will bring comfort and accomplish the work He sets out to do through it.
